Recently, 18 YIZUMI two-platen injection molding machines were delivered to the BYD's Hefei plant.

Up to now, more than 100 YIZUMI all-electric and two-platen injection molding machines have been ordered by BYD to fulfill its requirements in new energy vehicle production since 2018. The collaboration between BYD and YIZUMI is getting closer and more significant.

In recent years, new energy vehicles are becoming the priority choice for young people, then leading the explosive growth of energy vehicle . The advantages of new energy vehicles, such as comfortable driving experience, cost-effective and intelligentization, are highly attractive to young people. Meanwhile, it enhances the market acceptance of new energy vehicles.

According to the data released from BYD official, there were 134,000 vehicles sold in June,2022, increasing 162.7% from a year ago. In the first half of 2022, BYD totally sold 641,400 vehicles, up 314.90% from a year early. Such explosive sales growth make BYD replace Tesla as top manufacturer of new energy vehicles in the world.

BYD, as the biggest manufacturer of new energy vehicles in China, has already built more than 30 industrial parks globally and achieved the strategic distribution in 6 continents with the rapid development over twenty years. In addition, BYD also has played the pivotal role in electronics, vehicles, new energy, rail transport and so on.

In the past few days, up to 18 YIZUMI injection molding machines have entered the BYD's brand-new plant in Hefei and will be applied to the production of interior and exterior car trims for various new energy models, such as headlights and air conditioners.

It is reported that PMMA (also named acrylic) and PC are used as the processed and raw materials to the lampshade. Moreover, they have high requirements for the design and manufacturing process of the screw. Otherwise, any carelessness may lead to defects on the molding products, such as black spots and yellowed.    

To overcome the difficult points during production, YIZUMI injection molding machines adopt independent high-pressure cylinder to perform the function of low-speed and high-pressure molding. Besides, they also adopt high-pressure low-speed process or multi- component and multi-station layered injection molding process to facilitate thick wall products.

YIZUMI is keenly aware that the delivery of machines is not the end but the start of service.
