On October 21st, the YIZUMI 2023 Advanced Metal Forming Technology Workshop (AMFT 2023) is held in Ningbo, China.

The new energy vehicle (NEV) industry has expanded rapidly in recent years. The application of Al Reocasting and Mg Thixomolding technology in the core components of NEVs, and the transformation of car body manufacturing processes driven by integrated die-casting bring new opportunities and challenges to the die-casting industry.

Mr. Wang Tao from YIZUMI Die Casting Machine Division Marketing Center states in his speech: "As an innovation-driven company, YIZUMI adheres to market-oriented strategy as always, continually pays attention to customer needs and develops new products. Following that, senior technical experts from YIZUMI with rich industry experience share our research achievements of the upgraded HII series cold chamber die casting machines, as well as the innovation and application of LEAP series die casting machine technology. They also discuss the ultra large integrated die casting solutions and the innovative application of digital technology in the molding process.

How to speed up the production efficiency of die casting products to meet the premise of no quality defects is a question that deserves serious thought. Mr. Larry Wang, Manager of the Product and Marketing Management Department of YIZUMI Die Casting Machine Division, shares his experience in his topic <Die Casting Machines to Meet Global Customers' Needs>. YIZUMI started twenty years ago from scratch, and its products started from DM small size die casting machines to ultra large die casting machines with a maximum locking force of 9000 tons. Its focus markets are expanding from China to developing countries, and it is gaining recognition among global high-end customers. And now, YIZUMI is able to design and manufacture advanced die casting machines that meet European CE and the United States UL standards, and the needs of global customers.

Structural changes in NEV parts and the trend of lightweight require die casting machines in higher performance. Mr. Kevin Jiang, Senior Manager of Technical Service Center of YIZUMI Die Casting Machine Division, presents his speech <Integrated Die Casting Solutions of YIZUMI> on site. The speech elaborates on issues related to YIZUMI’s response to the higher technical requirements of integrated die-casting, among other relevant topics. For this, Mr. Chen Yong, Marketing Manager of Thixomolding Department of YIZUMI Die Casting Machine Division, gives a speech <Embracing the Magnesium Era through the Mastery of Thixomolding >. He narrates China's global leading position in magnesium alloy reserves and production and highlights the material performance advantages. He emphasizes the dominant role of large state-owned enterprises entering the magnesium industry and making substantial investments, leading to a strong push in the magnesium industry chain. He also presents a cost-quality comparison of magnesium alloy die casting parts and the process advantages of thixomolding. He concludes that in the dual-carbon era, there will be a rise in demand for magnesium alloy products, and thixomolding will become the mainstream production process for magnesium alloy products.

In the Industry 4.0 era, industries are gradually shifting toward intelligence and intelligent manufacturing. Mr. Zhang Yanfei, Chief Software Architect of Global Innovation Center of YIZUMI, delivers a keynote speech on <Innovative Digital Technology Application in the Molding Process>. He discusses the innovative applications of digital technologies in the digital transformation of molding equipment, such as intelligent control technology, equipment predictive maintenance, process intelligent optimization, and manufacturing operation management, which are driving the digital transformation and upgrade in all aspects of manufacturing and operation management.
