Ordered 3 Units on Site! New Cooperation between Taishan ZHONGMEI and YIZUMI

On 16th July, Taishan China Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Taishan ZHONGMEI”) signed up a contract with YIZUMI to purchase two units of Thixomolding machines UN650MGII、UN1250MGII and a DM3000HARCSM Cold Chamber Die Casting Machine on YIZUMI’s booth during CHINA DIECASTING 2020.

Located in Taishan city, Guangdong Jiangmen, Taishan ZHONGMEI dedicates to providing total solution for magnesium alloy product to customers. This including material / product R&D tooling design/manufacturing, magnesium die casting/ extrusion & forging. its products have been sold to British, Germany, Japan, American, China Taiwan, and other countries. Taishan ZHONGMEI has collaborated with YIZUMI since 2018 and consecutively introduced 15 units of H Series die casting machines, which clamping force ranging from 300T to 3000T.

As an enterprise focusing on magnesium alloy research and application, Taishan ZHONGMEI regards Thixomolding technology as an essential process direction. Mr. Tang Jianping, the General Manager of Taishan ZHONGMEI, introduced: “Thixomolding technology could greatly fix the molding problems, such as shrinkage, porosity, density, and ductility. We are also looking forward further development of Thixomolding technology with application for moving parts, even will widely applied in the new energy vehicle field.

Because of such consideration, Taishan ZHONGMEI purchased UN650MGII & UN1250MGII machines on site. Tang added: “UN650MGII is planned to produce drone structural parts, moving parts of bicycle, while UN1250MGII is prepared for the large-scale drone structural parts as well as new energy vehicle field.

The production process of new energy vehicle structural parts (such as center console, dashboard, dashboard frame), was gradually transformed to Thixomolding technology. Therefore，Taishan ZHONGMEI also begin re-planning the heavy-duty die casting production line and purchased one unit of DM3000HARCSM die casting machine. Mr. Tang Jianping explained that:” Magnesium alloy molding is changing from small, medium machine to the larger kind. We will applied 3000T or even larger 4500T die casting machine to meet the new energy vehicle trend.”

The three machines purchased on exhibition this time reflect customer’s affirmation for YIZUMI’s upgrading technologies & process applications in recent years. Richard Yan, YIZUMI Managing Director said: “Whatever Thixomolding machines or die casting machines, we do actively connect the European technologies, preparing for the application demands in China next three years. We believe that the change we will bring in domestic metal forming is worth expecting.”

YIZUMI and Taizhan ZHONGMEI are both confident of their future collaboration. They also strengthening a strategic partnership on the scene of signing. Tang said：“I saw YIZUMI continue investing in technologies R&D. We happen with the similar development concept. Strongly believed that we could achieve amazing results in the metal forming field by strengthening our collaboration.”
