ELECTROPRECIZIA—The most modern aluminum die casting operation in Romania and South Eastern Europe for Electric Motors

Electroprecizia, founded in 1936, is one of the most important electric motors manufacturer in Europe. In over 80 years of development Electroprecizia becomes a listed company, 100% Romanian company with comprehensive businesses such as electric motors, production of electric and electro-technical equipment, producing of die casting tools for aluminium alloys, moulds for plastic injection, precision stamping tools, production of electric and electronic subassemblies, plastic injection, die casting for aluminium alloy and so on.

So far, Electroprecizia is producing single and three phase asynchronous motors, and is offering personalized motors according to the requests of the premium integrators. The products are mainly exported to Poland, Spain, Germany, ltaly and others European Countries.

Introducing 6 aluminium die casting cells semi-automatized in production lines

Motor is mainly used to produce the driving torque, is the power of electrical appliances or a variety of mechanical power. It applies in a wide range of applications even in various industries. However, the excellent performance of the motor for energy saving is particularly important. Electroprecizia has 80 years of traditional experience in light non-ferrous metal casting and is aware that each component of the motor is important. Therefore, Electroprecizia's die casting processes for electric components is performant, Electroprecizia has established casting production branch in 2009, that has now two casting plants.

Electroprecizia has been using European brands of die casting machines before cooperating with Yizumi Group. These machines have been using for at least 20 years and were configured manually, thus Electroprecizia has considered replacing some die casting machines with new high quality, semi-automatized and environmentally friendly die casting machines. Electroprecizia values the stability and durability of the machines.

Electroprecizia requested several offers of die casting machines from different brands in Japan, Europe and China, and finally choose the Yizumi Group offer. As Electroprecizia said: "We have done market research and compared the parameters of the machines according to our needs. Taking in account the Yizumi-group’s size, brand and excellent equipment performance we considered these machines the perfect choice for us.”

In 2014, Electroprecizia’s first machine purchased, a DM500TARC real-time control die casting machine, came with ideal using effect and completely meet Electroprecizia requirements for machines. Again, in 2015, Electroprecizia purchased six aluminium die casting cells (equipped with robots for piece removal), with pressing force between 300 and 800T, that have been successfully put into operation.

Customized project with automation equipment

There are 6 aluminium die casting cells, semi-automatized in production line of Electroprecizia’s new plant and are mainly produce rotors and shells for motors.

"The rotor is the key component of the motor; its quality determines the quality of the motor, internal air tightness is the most important part, because it is the key that guarantees the motor’s long-term operation. Yizumi-Group based on the original standard machine, have made lots of optimizations on the outstanding series of die casting machines. Therefore, were made large improvements on pressure injection performance, efficiency, energy saving and environmental friendly, simplified operation and so on. Also ejector has enough length, which meets die casting requirements for the motors rotor, and the more important is that the product has rarely air bubble. So the quality of Electroprecizia products had been increased.

It is worth mentioning that Yizumi-Group had delivered the schemes to integrate the new die casting cells in Electroprecizia new plant, the layout for water lines, electric circuits and compressed air lines. Yizumi-Group is providing customized projects, and the cells are being equipped with a ladler, sprayer, mixing machine, conveyor belt, furnace, KUKA extractor robot and other auxiliary equipments.

The responsible for this project from Electroprecizia said that Yizumi’s die casting machine have superior performance and its performance have already catch up with European equipment, at the same time, the degree of automation equipment is very high, stable and reliable, and is bringing actual benefits to the company. In the past every die casting machine needed 1-2 workers to complete one working cycle, now we have to underline that after using automatized equipments, the efficiency was increased by more than 2 times.
