YIZUMI Develops 3000T Mg Thixomolding Machine for Larger Part

Besides the attractive growth in new energy vehicles, strong demand can be identified in a variety of markets including high-precision 3C components, outdoor & sports products as well as in health care.

Driving forces for this positive development are energy conservation and emissions reduction with the goal of creating a sustainable environment.

The Mg - Thixomolding manufacturing process perfectly complements this trend with its excellent performance in regard to low energy consumption and significantly reduced emissions.

YIZUMI launched its Thixomolding project about 15 years ago to compete in this interesting casting process which was initially introduced and promoted by North American and Japanese companies.

In 2009, YIZUMI released its first MG series Thixomolding machine in China and the machine was successfully passed the national technical appraisal. In 2014, YIZUMI led the development of the industry standards for thixomolding machines by making positive contributions to the sustainable and low-carbon development of the industry. In 2018, YIZUMI successfully introduced its newly developed UN1250MGII model, featuring 1250t of locking force and much increased shot capacity. Subsequently this attractive machine model was exported to customers in international markets including the USA and Germany for the casting of larger light weight components. In a collaborative R&D project involving our international technology teams in China and Europe, YIZUMI developed the Thixomolding Hot Runner Technology, setting a new benchmark in the industry. In 2022, the next bigger UN1500MGII model was developed and successfully put into operation in a well-known magnesium alloy manufacturing enterprise in China.

The UN1500MGII has been operational in mass production of large automobile dashboard display frames and new energy vehicle main motor housings, among others. The successful launch of our UN1500MGII makes us proud and is a great display of YIZUMI's machine-design and manufacturing capability.
