Abstract:
YIZUMI Germany presented cost-effective rubber, silicone and plastic processing machines at Fakuma
Through our on-site presentation of a vertical injection molding machine for processing elastomeric thermoplastics, YIZUMI demonstrated a cost-effective way to produce elastic components. This involved processing a biopolymer thermoplastic elastomer as an innovative step. 3D-printed stiffening structures were also integrated via a handling system in the fully automated manufacturing process. In addition, demonstrators manufactured with YIZUMI rubber machines were presented.
With the vertical C series machine, YIZUMI publicly presented for the first time a multifunctional tie-bar-less small injection molding machine for processing rubber, silicone and thermoplastics. This machine has been specially developed for overmolding inserts such as sheet metal, bushings, glass and cables, and is aimed at offering customers in the fast-growing electromobility market in particular a way to manufacture these complex components cost-effectively.
With the intuitive control of the C Series, YIZUMI demonstrated that an operator can easily master highly complex machine technology with minimal training.
On the machine, 3D printed frames were overmolded with a soft component. Both parts were made of a biopolymer. With this, YIZUMI Germany showed the potential that biopolymers could have in the future in the market segment of technical parts and in particular in the area of elastic applications.
