In the 2023 National Die Casting Industry Innovative Technology and Product Selection, the prize was awarded to YIZUMI's latest developed digital & intelligent two-platen die casting machine.
CHINA DIECASTING Committee has organized an annual "Innovative Die Casting Technologies and Products" event since 2017 to encourage and drive technology and product innovation, to foster an innovative culture in the industry, and boost enterprise competitiveness.
The event attracts strong support from many organizations, including Productivity Promotion Center of Foundry Industry of China, Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, <Die Casting>, Zonzu Technology, and NürnbergMesse China, etc.
The two-platen die casting machine technology debuted in Europe in 2007. The two-platen machine has more advantages in the mechanical structure of large die casting machines. First of all, the body length is 10% shorter than that of the traditional three-platen machine. Secondly, we can place more equipment in limited plant area with higher utilization rate. Third, the four big tie bars are well balanced by force employing hydraulic cylinders to lock the bars, making the mold adjustment easy and convenient. It is ideal equipment for the production of thin-wall parts and automotive structural parts.
As early as 2017, YIZUMI started self-development of two-platen die casting machine technologies. In July 2021, the LEAP series die casting machines, which were mutually developed by China and Europe technology platform, were debuted successfully and the Yi-Cast injection system was well accepted by the market.
Since then, YIZUMI has gradually introduced the new injection technology to the two-platen die casting machine, and has newly developed an innovative two-platen clamping structure.
The digital intelligent two-platen die casting machine adopts Yi-Cast injection system and uses multi-cylinder high-pressure clamping system which is innovated by YIZUMI for tie bar clamping. It makes the machine maintenance more convenient, better material exchangeability, especially for cylinder seals, which greatly reduces the pain points that suffered maintenance of high-pressure clamping systems on two-platen machines.
The individual tie bar adopts 6 small cylinders instead of single large cylinder, it is better to absorb the deformation of the platen, and ensure better engagement between the locking block and the tie bar groove in a more effective way, which create uniform force on each groove and tooth to prolong the lifetime of the tie bar and locking block.
The spacing tolerance between neighboring tie bar teeth takes gradual changing design to ensure balanced force on each tooth, which effectively preventing the risk of fracture. With automatic pressure compensation function, the machine is able to compensate the clamping force dynamically in real time.
