YIZUMI LEAP Series Die Casting Machine Debuts at EUROGUSS 2024

On 16th January, local time, EUROGUSS 2024 is grandly opened at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, Germany. The event focuses on topics like rapid prototyping, die casting machinery and material testing, showing innovative solutions for die casting processes like Al die casting, magnesium die casting or zinc die casting.

01 | Car front end and rear underbody

Outstanding manufacturing strength

At EUROGUSS 2024, YIZUMI also presents some latest developed castings, including ultra-large integrated die casting parts of car front end and rear underbody.

Ultra-large die casting structural part for NEVs

The external dimensions of the front end are 1562×918×385mm, while those of the rear underbody are 1875×1617×736mm and 1562×1440×584mm respectively. They are all made of heat treatment free aluminum alloy. Their shot weights exceed 100 kilograms, and the average wall thickness is only 3 mm, making it a huge challenge for the die casting process.

Thanks to the high dynamic injection performance of the LEAP series ultra-large die casting machines, the molding process with a maximum filling distance over two meters could be managed well. The LEAP series die casting machines fully prove its capability for critical requirements of any complex process for NEV ultra-large aluminum & magnesium components.

Besides high-end machines, YIZUMI also collaborates with partner Sinyuan ZM to present Mg thixomolding parts, such as heat dissipation brackets for car lamps and frames for seat armrests, attracting a lot of attention from visitors.

During GIFA 2023 In June, Sinyuan ZM signed a strategic cooperation agreement with YIZUMI to mutually develop 3200T Thixomolding machine, which has the largest tonnage in the world so far.
