As for HPM North America Corp. being renamed Yizumi-HPM Corp. earlier this year, General Manager of Yizumi Injection Molding Machine Division James Zhang said, "Based on Yizumi’s advantages in innovative product technology and customer service, the change of brand name is to inject more vitality into HPM, a traditional and well-known brand, and to strengthen the confidence of North American customers. Yizumi achieved a 22.63% year-on-year sales growth of injection molding machines in the first half of this year, becoming increasingly influential in the global market. The corporate name change is also to better show the North American market and customers the strength and image of Yizumi, HPM’s parent company.”
Yizumi-HPM’s sales in the North American market surge this year. In the first three quarters of 2017, the sales of die casting machines were $5,774,000, with a substantial year-on-year increase compared with last year’s $610,000. At the same time, the business of injection molding machines remained steady. Earlier in June, the HPM4500T largest die casting machine ever built by Yizumi and Yizumi-HPM was successfully delivered to Walker Die Casting and put into use. With the opening of Yizumi-HPM’s new factory and the introduction of DP series, A5 series, FE series and PAC series to the North American market, Yizumi’s competitiveness in the local market is expected to be greatly enhanced.
