Yizumi Heavy Duty Die Casting Cell on the move to expedite 5G deployment!
As the nation grapples with the COVID-19, 5G has played an important role in terms of providing network coverage for wards, mobile hospitals, remote consultation, IR temperature measuring, and other rapidly growing medical applications. In response to the increasing demand, suppliers of communication base stations in China are ramping up their productions. Some enterprises have been running around the clock to continuously fulfill urgent orders for parts badly needed in the construction of communication networks. To help the 5G constructions, Yizumi’s heavy duty die casting cells are also racing against time, being debugged and put into production at customer’s workshops to safeguard the 5G base station business.

Products for communication industry
With a long history of collaboration with Yizumi, Jiansheng Technology has purchased several 1650-T and 2000-T automated die-casting cells from Yizumi in recent years. With the acceleration of 5G deployment, Jiansheng Technology also invested in the large 3000-T and 3500-T die-casting production lines to produce 5G base station enclosures and shielding covers. Among them, the 3500-T heavy duty die-casting cell has already started production in 2019. What’s more, 3000-T heavy duty die-casting cell has already finished the installation process since the resumption of work this year and all of them will soon be ready for operation.

Runxingtai’s cooling shell for 5G base station won the “China Die casting 2019 Gold Award”
Focusing on R&D and production of thixomolding products, Runxingtai resumed production expeditiously after returning to work. Yizumi’s 4000-T automated heavy-duty die casting cell is now in operation and manufacturing cooling shells for 5G base station using thixomolding technology. Compared with the traditional die-casting process, the thixomolding technology is capable of making large, thin-walled, lightweight castings with complex structures while significantly reducing internal stress and the occurrence of hot tear and segregation, resulting in higher product precision.

The 4000T automated heavy duty die casting cell at Tairisheng’s workshop
With the acceleration of 5G base station construction, the major communication base station supplier Tairisheng responded actively and made a new investment in the Yizumi 4000-T automated heavy-duty die casting cell at the end of 2019. Currently, the equipment installation has been completed and the molding trial is gathering pace. Mass production of filter housing and other products is expected to start in March.
