MIIT Conducted “Special Research in Robot Industry” in Yizumi

In order to deeply understand the influence of corona pandemic on robot industry, further promote the work resumption for upstream and downstream enterprises in robot industrial chain, on May 13th, Guo Shougang, Deputy Director of the Finance Division of MIIT, Shen Jianxin, deputy dean of Institute of Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Guo jian, deputy director of Office of Science and Technology Research, Nanjing University of Science & Technology, Shen Gaoqing, director of Equipment Industry Division, Industrial and Information Technology Department of Jiansu, and other leaders visited Yizumi Robotic Company to conduct special research in robot industry. The relative leaders of Suzhou city and Wujiang district companied them to visit.

Accompanied by Dou Feng, the general manager of Yizumi Robot, Deputy Director Guo Shougang of MIIT and other leaders visited Yizumi’s Robot workshop and injection molding two-platen machine workshop in a succession. Then they held talks about the special survey about the influence of corona pandemic on robot industry.

Since the pandemic outbreak, the government introduced some measures including finance, tax, social insurance relief, reducing cost of electricity and gas, unemployment insurance return, settling account with SME, rent reduction, VAT cut for small-scale taxpayers, etc. Wujiang, Suzhou issued a series of measures including social insurance, medical insurance to assist work resumption of enterprises, to positively help them pulling through.

The research team pointed that: manufacturing industry is the key part of industry. Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu will coordinate economic development, positively introduce preferential policy to enterprises in robot industry through various institutions and channels, comprehensively promote work resumption and normal production order recovery during normalized pandemic prevention and control. At the same time, the research team gave their high praise to the settle of “Intelligent Manufacturing and Collaborative Innovation Sub-center” in Yizumi Robot, Wujiang. With the development of intelligent manufacturing, the establishment of innovation sub-center will further improve the ecological environment of intelligent manufacturing, pushing production enterprises upgrading and transformation by focusing intelligence of industrial robot and its application in intelligent manufacturing.
